Poseidon Underwater Enterprises Co., Ltd. is Taiwan's first company focused on developing a full range of underwater technology products, with a long-standing expertise in underwater machinery R&D, core component manufacturing, and electronic control system design. This year's competition centers on the "POSEIDON LB1200 Smart Remote-Controlled Lifebuoy," combining remote control, dual-propulsion power, and hydrodynamic design to improve water rescue efficiency and expand the application possibilities of human-machine collaboration in public safety. The competition encourages students to approach the topic from the perspectives of market demand, brand strategy, and social value, proposing creative and feasible marketing plans to enhance public awareness and acceptance of smart rescue equipment.

President Ren Lizhong of Taipei University of Business expressed his gratitude to Poseidon Underwater Engineering for collaborating with the university. He noted that the industry-driven competition format allowed students to practice marketing planning with real products, accumulating valuable industry-relevant experience. He also expressed his hope that outstanding proposals would be further implemented and applied in the future, deepening industry-academia exchange. The preliminary round of the competition received over seventy marketing plan proposals from diverse teams, showcasing highly creative and strategically sound work, demonstrating the new generation's keen sensitivity to marketing thinking. The 10 teams that advanced to the finals presented their projects and answered questions from the judges. Their projects, ranging from product positioning and market analysis to promotional strategies, demonstrated mature and practical value.

After rigorous evaluation by the judging panel, the first prize went to the "Rescue 4 for You" team from the Department of Cultural Creativity and Digital Marketing at National United University; second place went to the "Wave Project" team from the Graduate Institute of Creative Design and Management at Taipei University of Business; and third place went to the "Hsiang Shang G4" team from the Department of International Trade at Kaohsiung Senior Commercial Vocational School.
