The Department of Digital Media Design at National Taipei University of Business has achieved another outstanding result! The international animated feature film *The World Beyond*, produced with deep involvement from a team of faculty and students specializing in animation and background art, stood out at the highly competitive 62nd Golden Horse Awards, winning the "Best Animated Feature Film" award. of maturity within the international animation production system, enabling them to align with industry standards and maintain competitiveness. This award is of great significance.

The success of *The World Beyond* is inseparable from the solid foundation laid by the Department of Digital Media Design's long-term commitment to international industry-academia collaboration and continuous accumulation of practical experience. Following the signing of memorandums of understanding with three well-known Japanese animation companies last year, the department actively promoted substantive technical exchanges and production participation, enabling students to directly participate in high-level, internationally recognized animation projects. This film was primarily produced by Point Five Creations, a renowned Hong Kong animation company, and personally supervised by Ms. Chiu Man-mei, Vice President of the design firm Mechaman Co., Ltd. in Japan, leading the team from Taipei University of Business and Technology (TUB Business) through the core production process. In a high-intensity, meticulously divided production environment, faculty and students collaborated closely with animation industry elites from Hong Kong and Japan, not only absorbing advanced Japanese animation production experience but also honing their high standards of aesthetics and detail through practical experience.

The overall style of *Another World* blends fantastical imagination with profound emotions. The judges highly praised the film's complete and richly layered worldview, as well as its delicate scene depictions and vivid character performances, successfully constructing a highly immersive animated world. The TUB Business and Technology production team demonstrated professional standards in color usage, lighting effects, and character dynamics. The faculty and students' willingness to experiment with new technologies and break through existing frameworks, fusing local cultural elements with international artistic styles to present a unique visual language, is a key factor in the work's high claim.

This Golden Horse Award win is not only a significant achievement for the creative team behind *Another World*, but also a major milestone for Taiwanese higher education in cultivating professionals in the fields of animation and digital content. To continue this success and deepen the curriculum, the Department of Digital Media plans to invite the film's director, Mr. Wu Chi-chung, to the university to share his creative process and practical experience.
