National Taipei University of Business Wins Regional Leadership Award for University Brand Power Li-Chung Jen: Cultivating Global Talent to Build a National Business and Management Think Tank

The nation’s largest job-matching platform, 104 Corporation, held the 2026 University Brand Power Awards ceremony on the 7th. National Taipei University of Business stood out among more than 120 universities and colleges nationwide, winning the Regional Leadership Award thanks to its strong foundation in business and management practice and its forward-looking transformation in data-driven decision-making and industry–academia collaboration. NTUB President Li-Chung Jen personally attended the ceremony to receive the award, expressing gratitude for the recognition from industry leaders and declaring that NTUB has become a key force in advancing regional industry development and upgrading business and management education.
As the leading brand in technological and vocational business education, NTUB has received repeated recognition from authoritative media outlets in recent years for its outstanding educational achievements. In particular, in the “2025 Best Universities in Taiwan” ranking released by Global Views Monthly, NTUB ranked seventh nationwide in the field of business and management. It was not only the only technological university to make the list but also demonstrated its ability to compete alongside top institutions such as National Taiwan University, National Chengchi University, and National Cheng Kung University. The business community widely recognizes that NTUB graduates possess strong competitiveness in areas such as digital finance and practical operations, further confirming that the university’s business education has reached a level comparable to that of comprehensive research universities.
Looking ahead, President Li-Chung Jen emphasized two key strategic priorities for NTUB’s future development during the ceremony. In the era of rapid AI advancement, he stated that the university has a clear positioning: “Many people talk about AI Business, but NTUB focuses on ‘AI in Business.’” The university concentrates on applying artificial intelligence within real business scenarios, exploring how AI can help enterprises make more precise and effective decisions.
President Li added that the university is requiring all departments to integrate the Business Simulation teaching method into their curricula. By simulating real-world business environments, students can practice decision-making, risk management, and responding to market changes within the classroom. According to him, cultivating this practical decision-making ability is one of the university’s most important educational goals.
Winning the Regional Leadership Award also represents strong recognition of NTUB’s efforts to promote industry–academia transformation and support industrial upgrading. Earlier this year, the university’s Advanced Research Institute successfully hosted the first Innovative City Marketing Forum, which received enthusiastic responses from representatives across government, industry, and academia. In the future, NTUB plans to establish a City Marketing Research Center to provide long-term strategic insights for governments and enterprises, serving as an important platform connecting industry, public policy, and academic research.
President Li emphasized that as a benchmark institution in business education within Taiwan’s technological and vocational education system, NTUB carries not only the responsibility of cultivating talent but also the mission of guiding the transformation of education and industry. Moving forward, the university will continue focusing on international marketing, AI-driven decision applications, and business intelligence (BI) as key development areas, with the goal of becoming an important think tank for Taiwan’s business education and industrial strategy. Receiving recognition from the University Brand Power Awards represents a concrete achievement of NTUB’s years of professional dedication and steady advancement.
